Ravens Consulting is actively engaged in a quantitative data analysis activity for the project “Harnessing longitudinal data and digital technologies to improve adolescent health across sub-Saharan Africa” in Tanga. This initiative is a collaborative effort by the African Academy for Public Health (AAPH), the University of Dodoma, and the Tanga City Council.
The consultancy work includes providing technical support during the endline field data collection. Ravens Consulting advises the team in the field, utilizing scientific analytical methods to analyze the quantitative data collected from school health surveys. Additionally, they assist in the report-writing process, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the study’s findings.
Specifically, Ravens Consulting has overseen the endline data collection, developed detailed analytical and analysis plans, and conducted the quantitative analyses. The focus areas of the analysis include nutrition, sexual and reproductive health, mental health, physical health, health services utilization, and substance use. This thorough approach ensures that the report will be detailed and informative.
Currently, Ravens Consulting is in the process of writing the final report, which encompasses all the critical domains of the study. They are preparing to collaborate with the study team to develop dissemination materials that effectively communicate the findings to relevant stakeholders.
After completing the report, Ravens Consulting will participate in dissemination meetings to present the results and insights gained from the project. Their involvement in these meetings will help ensure that the information is shared effectively and can be used to inform future health initiatives for adolescents in sub-Saharan Africa.
