Ravens Consulting played a crucial role in creating a high-quality Computer Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI) questionnaire for the Tanzania Tomato Wholesale survey. This survey, which took place from January to March 2023, was part of the Tomato Survey study conducted by the ASPIRES Tanzania team in collaboration with Michigan State University.
Our team specifically focused on designing and programming the survey using Open Data Kit (ODK) technology. This involved meticulously organizing the survey into various sections and ensuring the logical flow between questions. Attention was given to the skipping patterns to maintain the survey’s integrity and coherence.
Additionally, Ravens Consulting provided hosting services for the data collected during the survey. This ensured that the data was securely stored and easily accessible for analysis. Our hosting solutions supported the seamless collection and management of survey data.
Throughout the project, we collaborated closely with the ASPIRES Tanzania team and Michigan State University to align the survey with their research objectives. This collaboration was key to developing a robust and reliable CAPI questionnaire tailored to the specific needs of the Tanzania Tomato Wholesale survey.
By the end of the project, Ravens Consulting had successfully delivered a comprehensive and well-structured survey tool. Our work ensured that the data collected was of high quality, facilitating valuable insights for the Tomato Survey study.
